Silicone rubber post insulator for electrical apparatus is used for substation switch and bus supports. The CR E-glass core and stacked shed are the main components of post insulators.
Silicone rubber post insulator for electrical apparatus main components:
CR E-glass core: Orient uses “Boron Free” Corrosion Resistant E-Glass on all its insulators for its High Electrical Integrity & High Resistance to acid corrosion. The boron free formulation of the fiberglass core makes it resistant to nitric acid attacks. There has never been a brittle fracture failure of a CR E-glass Insulator in over 30 years of use.
Stacked Shed - The Orient Stacked Shed configuration offers inherent protection against material agin in critical areas of the sheath and resists the resultant material erosion when installed in highly contaminated environments (resistance to Water Droplet Corona). In addition, stacked shed profiles enhance the ability of the insulator to resist mechanical damage in these most critical areas during transportation and installation.
In addition to the CR E-glass core and stacked shed, the silicone rubber and the triple seal of end fitting are also our outstanding advantages. The details of composite apparatus insulator have been introduced in the other article. Silicone rubber post insulator for electrical apparatus consists of silicone rubber sheath, silicone stacked sheds, flanges, CR glass rod and standard silicone sheds. Silicone rubber post insulator for electrical apparatus has good sealing after triple seal.
